Food Trucks

Ordinance Number 288-09 allows licensed food trucks to operate in the City of Pelham. On June 7, 2021, the Pelham City Council approved Ordinance Number 288-14, allowing food trucks to operate in some residential areas at the request of the HOA or in city mini-parks. It's very important that you take the time to read both ordinances in their entirety. They contain approved standards, practices, requirements, penalties, and exceptions.

Anyone wishing to host a food truck event at any City of Pelham park space must submit a completed Food Truck Event Application (PDF) to the Parks & Recreation Department no more than five days prior to the proposed event.

Application Process

All food truck business license permitting applications must be completed in their entirety. Processing of the license request may take three to five business days. Incomplete applications will not be processed. Cash and checks are the accepted forms of payment.
