The City Clerk and Finance Director are responsible for all financial services required by city government. This department maintains all financial records, city council minutes and ordinances. Specific responsibilities include measuring and reporting on financial position, financial stability, financial liquidity, expenditures and planning for the short and long-term financial needs of the city. The Finance Director is responsible for managing the city debt and providing accurate financial and operational information to various departments. City Clerk responsibilities include processing bids, city elections, record keeping functions related to city council meetings and maintenance of municipal resolutions and ordinances, passed by the Pelham City Council.
